The Primary Sports Premium Funding is given to primary schools to get more people playing sport safely from a young age and help them keep playing sport throughout their life, no matter what their economic or social background.

Swimming

Our Year 6 pupils currently have weekly swimming lessons.

The data below is a summary of 2021-2022 outcomes:

65% of pupils can swim competently, confidently, and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres

60% of pupils can use a range of strokes effectively

70% of pupils can perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
